In 2018 I started working with BBC Masterchef finalist Matei Baran, photographing his journey in creating his new business enterprise.

Including a successful cookbook ‘Big Chef Mini Chef’, the development of his Posh Street Food concept, events and high-end private chef bookings.

My vision was to showcase the art element of both the practice of professional cookery and its finished product on the plate. To give clients a behind the scenes feel, capture Mateis passion for food and his culinary skill.

For me it was combining my love of portraiture with food photography.
